“One day you’re in, the next day you’re out.”

(Project Runway, Part I)

New York City, the fashion capital of the world. Where models starve, designers sketch and shops tempt with beautiful clothes and sales. And the location for the Mecca of all fabric stores: Mood.

Thomas and I ran around the two-story store, petting alpaca wool, running our hands over silk and marveling at all the accessories, buttons and feathers.

As we headed out to the elevator man, I spotted an orange flier in a secluded corner.

“Project Runway – You’re invited!”

I looked at Thomas.

“We are so totally there.”
